Description
Innovative square (BLOC) design promotes straighter drives and maximum distance. By shifting the weight of the driver to the back edge of the club head, MOI is increased resulting in unprecedented power off the tee. The BLOC Driver is like no club we've ever designed. We're eager to introduce you to the smooth plains and mirror polish of this stylish new creation. Expect to be surprised by this driver!

Evan Prussack rated this product on 01/01/09 This is an excellent club. It is extremely forgiving, and distance is effortless. You can hit the ball way out on the toe or the heel, and still have a straight ball flight, it just won't go as far. This is the best driver you could buy for it's price.
SR said the following about this product on 11/25/08 I have been playing golf for 3 years now and I was shopping for a second driver for practice sessions. I also read a lot of this blog and felt that the bloc would be a good second driver. So I went to Academy, purchased a stock 10-deg bloc last week and have tried it a couple of times. While hitting range balls, the blocs the black powder coating on the crown chipped off. I was very dissappointed about this. In the past I have always used off the shelf / stock drivers, A Wilson gear effect driver first, which I traded in for a TaylorMade R7 draw driver a year ago. I was learning to play golf with these drivers and have hit far worser drives. But these clubs have held up well. After seeing this chip I examined the bloc and my taylormade more closely and find the bloc is of a far poorer quality. Somewhere in this blog, someone from Pinemeadow gave a clarification that the stock driver is made from ti alloy to keep the price down. Good gimmick. The club head is an Aluminum alloy, hence the typical Aluminum bat sound. Technically it is more aluminum that titanium. The best part was on Sunday when another golfer cam up to me and showed his custom bloc to me. No difference in heads. His shaft was an Aldila and not the standard Pinemeadow shaft mine had. He had paid close to $130 bucks for it plus shipping. But I wanted a cheap second driver for practice and I got a cheap one. Lesson learned. I should have known better. I did not compromise when I had to upgrade from my starter set to a better one to improve my game. I should not have compromised when I went out to by a practice driver. I should have purchased a new TM SGB burner to a Nike Sumo and kept my R7 as a practice driver. Well, serves me right!!
Dave rated this product on 10/22/08 Far and away the WORST golf club I've ever owned. In fact, after playing five rounds with this club I threw it away (didn't feel right to give it or sell it to anyone else) and bought a NIKE driver. Best switch I ever made. Sorry Pinemeadow, you struck out with this one!
Rich rated this product on 10/18/08 The driver did exactly as advertised - Reduced my slice down to manageable and gave me about 30 yards more. I wonder if the extra distance might be gained from the reduction in my slice? In any event, works for me! My regular playing partners even commented how much better I'm driving. Thanks
Scott rated this product on 08/17/08 I just picked up the "Block" at Dunham's. I was waiting for the price to go down, and it finaly did. I bought it for 20 dollars. I really wasn't expecting much, but was I surprised. I never thought I would be the guy who writes in and says, "This club changed my game!" Well, I just got back from the driving range, and I connected everytime. I still had a small slice, but most of the time it gave me a small hook, and that is what I have been wanting. I also have to say the ball does seem to be going a bit longer also! Really impressed with this driver.
