Description
A new bolt of energy in square driver technology has arrived! The Excel Lightning Driver maximizes MOI with its square head design allowing players of all handicaps to get a wider sweet spot for better control. With an increased MOI the club head resists twisting or lateral movement at impact creating a straighter more consistent drive. This is a benefit to any golfer that puts this club in their hands.
Keep in mind, we've listened to your feedback. The driver features a more traditional sounding square head driver with all the same great features discovered the square technology. So put a bolt of lightning in your game and feel the shock when you crush the Excel Lightning Driver.

Tom Kopacz rated this product on 11/01/08 I am a very average golfer, and I typically shoot from the upper 90's to the low 100's. My troubles on the golf course always have started with a severe slice off of the tee, I am happy to say that approx. 60% of my tee shots are traveling about 260 yards and straight, which is very good for me. The shots that do slice are not slicing nearly as much as in the past. I am very happy with this club.

Wally B rated this product on 10/02/08 I recently purchased a number of Pinemeadow clubs which were received beautifully packed and in perfect condition!! Unfortunately, I had broken my collar bone and could not try out these supurb clubs. Going to my local driving range, I noticed a friend, who was a 7 h'cap, tuning his swing with his 'top of the range' Cleveland driver. Taking my new Excel Lightning, I asked him to 'give it a try' Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!! He hit several balls, all of which equaled his Cleveland drives for distance, accuracy and flight!! His comment? I don't like the sound!! Who cares, at this price it can't be beaten!! Smile....after waking away with a huge smile on my face, I noticed that none of the ball marks came from the 'sweet spot' so, what extra distance could be obtained hitting it sweet? I can't wait to see!! Thank you Pinemeadow, I hope to be able to post more comments on the other clubs soon...
Larry rated this product on 09/25/08 I have had this driver all summer now. It has lowered my score by four shots per round. People sometimes emphasize the short game stating that 80% of your shots are under 100 yards from the green, but don't undersell the driver. It's hard to get back into the hole from the woods, stream or out of bounds! This driver has reduced my unplayable or penalized drives by 90% - - - I'm not underestimating. I got the 12 degree loft and have been glad that I did. I have found most of the trouble is on the ground, not in the air and my distance is just as good. The only "bad" or neutral thing is that I don't like the sound as well.
Eric rated this product on 09/13/08 While i do like this driver more than my old driver, my slice seems to have become worse. I hit this driver more consistently than my old crappy driver, but my slice seems to have worsened a bit. My scores have gone down a solid 5 strokes since buying the Excel Lightning driver, which is why I really do like this more than any other driver i've owned. I just don't know why my slice has worstened.
